A CAR driven by a 90-year-old woman hit an elderly pedestrian and three other parked vehicles in Harrogate town centre.
The pedestrian, an 80-year-old woman from West Yorkshire, was seriously hurt.
She was taken to Leeds General Infirmary where she was in a serious but stable condition.
Police are appealing for witnesses to the accident on Cheltenham Crescent on Saturday at around 12.50pm.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Police said: “A white Toyota Auris car that was in the parking bays opposite Lloyds Bank collided with three other vehicles in the parking bays, and a pedestrian.”
The woman driver, was also hurt and was treated at Harrogate Hospital for treatment.
The road was closed until 4.30pm to allow police to investigate the incident.
