FIRE crews were called to a house in York after a fire in the roof today (Friday, October 14).
Crews from Acomb and Huntington and the aerial ladder platform were sent to the property in Danebury Drive at about 3pm.
A spokesman for the fire service said a fire started in the roof of the property.
The cause of the fire was believed to be an electrical fault, and a man was treated by paramedics at the scene for suspected smoke inhalation.
