A NORTH Yorkshire road was closed after a truck became wedged in soft ground.
Police closed the road Greenhow Hill near Harrogate when the lorry nearly overturned after tipping into a ditch this morning.
The highway between Hardisty Hill and Duck Street Lane was affected and North Yorkshire's Roads Policing Group closed the area whilst they arranged for the vehicle to be recovered.
It was reopened a few hours later.
Police say nobody was injured in the accident.
