DETECTIVES have appealed for information about a man wanted over the theft of a diamond ring.
North Yorkshire Police have released a photo of Michael Walker following the theft of a valuable ring at a jewellers in High Ousegate, York, in February.
Despite extensive police efforts to locate him, Walker, 30, remains at large.
He has a Liverpudlian accent, a scar on the right side of his head and the name Kelly Hunter tattooed inside his right wrist.
Police said Walker travelled extensively by train to Devon, Cornwall, Derby, Preston and North Yorkshire.
DC Lesley Raffan, of North Yorkshire Police, said: “I am appealing for anyone who sees Michael Walker, or knows where he is, to get in touch with North Yorkshire Police immediately, by dialing 101."
