THE body of a woman has been found on a nature reserve - however police say there were no suspicious circumstances surrounding the death.
The body was discovered by a group of children on the Clifton Backies reserve in York shortly after 8.30am on Monday.
A police spokeswoman said: "Sadly, the woman, who was aged in her 30s, was pronounced dead at the scene.
"Police are not treating her death as suspicious and are not looking for anyone else in connection with it."
The spokeswoman said the woman's next of kin had been informed, but the force was not yet in a position to release her identity.
