A RAILWAY line has reopened after an early morning train derailment.
Fire crews from Knaresborough, Harrogate and Ripon were alerted to the incident involving the 6.52am Northern Rail service between York and Harrogate on Saturday.
The train operator said four people were on board and no one was injured as the train had remained upright.
The cause of the derailment is being investigated by Network Rail and the Rail Accident Investigation Branch.
Northern Rail said following disruption which saw a bus service introduced, a normal service had resumed in both directions.
