Pensioner dies after road accident
AN elderly pedestrian seriously injured in a road accident two weeks ago has died from his injuries.
The 83-year-old was in a collision with a black VW Golf on Station Parade in Harrogate, close to the bus station, at about 1.40pm on October 21.
The pensioner, a local man, was airlifted to Leeds General Infirmary suffering from critical injuries but has now died. The Golf driver was shaken but unhurt.
