AN investigation has been launched after a man died on a rail track in North Yorkshire.
The dead man, who has yet to be named, was killed when he was struck by a train near the Crimple Valley viaduct in Harrogate.
The incident happened shortly after 1.30pm today, and led to delays of up to an hour on the York-Harrogate-Leeds line.
The death is not being treated as suspicious and officers from British Transport Police are preparing a file for the coroner.
