SERIOUS COLLISION: Police are appealing for witnesses to a three-car crash at North Rigton
A WOMAN has suffered serious head and back injuries after a three-car collision.
The woman Mercedes driver, who is in her 50s and from Knaresborough, was taken to Leeds General Infirmary after the incident, at North Rigton, near Harrogate, at 4pm on Friday (March 13).
The driver of an Audi TT, a man in his 50s from Harrogate, and a 29-year-old BMW driver, from Leeds, were treated for minor injuries, while a passenger in the BMW, a man in his 20s, also from Leeds, sustained serious back injuries and was taken to Leeds General Infirmary.
The driver of the BMW was arrested over the collision and had been released on bail. Witnesses should call police on 101.
