Man became trapped after partner threw away his keys
A MAN found himself trapped in railings – because his partner had flung away his keys.
The man became trapped in the railings in Huntriss Row, Scarborough, while trying to get his keys back.
Unable to free himself from his predicament, local firefighters had to be called out to extricate him.
The man found himself stuck fast after 7.50pm on Thursday but was quickly freed by the fire crew.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Scarborough crews released a male trapped in railings by use of ladders and other equipment after he became stuck fast attempting to retrieve his keys which had been flung over the railings by his partner."
