POLICE have caught a six foot boa constrictor snake on the outskirts of a popular seaside town.
The Northern Echo understands that the creature, which is usually found in the wild in North, Central and South America, was caught in Forge Valley, Scarborough on Saturday afternoon.
The area is a nature reserve popular with walkers.
