A MAN has been taken to hospital with serious injuries after a collision with a car.
The collision between a Ford Fiesta and the pedestrian happened on Columbus Ravine, Scarborough, at about 11.20pm on Sunday.
The pedestrian, a man in his twenties from Scarborough, was taken to Hull Royal Infirmary with serious injuries.
The driver of the Ford Fiesta, a man in his twenties from the Scarborough area, was arrested on suspicion of dangerous driving in connection with the incident.
Anyone who witnessed the collision is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, quoting reference 12160214707.
