POLICE are appealing for two dog walkers to come forward as they investigate how a woman suffered cuts in a North Yorkshire street.

Officers were called by the ambulance service at about 8pm on Thursday, September 1 after a 25-year-old woman was found with cuts to her arm and chest in Scarborough.

Now detectives are appealing to two dog walkers with a black dog who crossed North Marine Road towards Clarence Road at around 7.50pm, to contact them.

It is believed that although the woman was found on North Marine Road, the original incident took place in Clarence Road and officers are appealing for anyone who was in the area at the time to contact them.
