Arrest following seaside sex attack
A MAN has been arrested in connection with an early morning sex attack in a seaside car-park.
The 18-year-old is now being held in custody in Scarborough where he is being questioned by detectives.
A police cordon has now been lifted at the resort’s King Street car-park – where the 19-year-old victim was allegedly assaulted on March 9.
However police are still appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious in the area between 2.40am and 3.20am that morning to contact them with information.
