TOURISM businesses across North Yorkshire are being invited to attend Welcome to Yorkshire’s annual literature exchange.
As one of the most longstanding events in the Yorkshire tourism calendar, the free event gives tourist attractions, shops, accommodation providers, events and activity operators the chance to network and swap information.
This year’s event will be held at Thirsk Auction Mart from 11am to 2pm on Wednesday, March 15.
Sir Gary Verity, chief executive of Welcome to Yorkshire, said: “This is always a hugely popular event and is a great way for businesses to distribute their literature in bulk ready for the start of the tourist season and find out what’s new for 2017.
“We would encourage anyone in the tourism sector to come along and stock up on literature for their guests, network with other local businesses and meet members of Welcome to Yorkshire’s team.”
The event is free and businesses can take along their own table or stand, of no more than 5ft in length, or one can be hired for £10.
