DRINKERS called an ambulance for an alleged stab victim last night after he walked in with wounds to his back following an incident in a nearby flat.
The alleged attack took place in a flat at Barbeck, Thirsk, at about 11pm.
The victim, a 28-year-old local man, walked to a nearby pub on Ingramgate where an ambulance was called.
Three minor wounds on his back were treated at James Cook University Hospital in Middlesbrough before he was discharged.
Two men, both aged 39, have been arrested in connection with the incident and remain in custody for questioning while enquiries continue.
