ARSONISTS have been blamed for a car blaze in Pickering on Thursday night.
Firefighters were called by police to the scene on Longlands Lane at 9.05pm and discovered a VW Passat on fire.
The crew used a hose reel jet and a set of breathing apparatus to tackle the blaze.
Police believe the fire was started deliberately and are urging anyone with information about the incident to contact them on 101.
