APPEAL: The A64 near Whitwell-on-the-Hill in North Yorkshire
POLICE are looking for the driver of a Porsche who may have witnessed an offence.
On Saturday afternoon a green Volkswagen Golf estate car failed to stop for police on the A64 between York and Malton as officers attempted to pull it over.
At the time, the driver of a Porsche was travelling east along the road near Whitwell Hill, between 3.10pm and 3.50pm.
Officers now want to trace the driver of this sports car as the motorist may have seen the incident.
A man aged in his thirties has been arrested in connection with the offence and released under investigation while enquiries continue.
