POLICE are investigating after a car was set alight at the entrance to a recycling depot.

North Yorkshire Police are appealing for witnesses and information after a car was set on fire at East Knapton, just off the A64 near Malton in the early hours of October 21.

The car had been at the entrance to a recycling depot when it was targeted and the offenders escaped unseen and unheard.

Now police are appealing to the public to help establish the full details of the incident.
