A NEW aerial attraction in North Yorkshire is hosting tree-top football to mark the start of the Euro 2016 championships.

The Treetop Nets attraction in Ripon, which boasts the world's highest trampoline, is adding special goal posts to one of its pods for the duration of the tournament.

The centre opened last month and gives visitors the chance to bounce and slide on 2000 square metres of giant trampolines, walkways and slides all contained within four metre-high rope nets, suspended between trees up to 50 feet off the ground.

It is home to the longest aerial net walkway in the world, as well as a gigantic aerial ball pool, a tree house and a 50-foot high crows nest and it is located next to Lightwater Valley Theme Park.

Mike Turner, owner of Treetop Nets said: “We are huge football fans and really wanted to mark the start of the Euros in style.

"Not many people can say they have played football high up in the trees but our visitors will be able to do so throughout the next few weeks."

Visitors wearing football shirts will be offered a discount but tickets have to be booked in advance on www.treetopnets.co.uk
