AN ANNUAL plant fair is to once more coincide with a spectacular vehicle rally at Newby Hall.
On Sunday, May 8, the hall, near Ripon, will play host to its Spring Plant Fair and the Cars in the Park rally, after it proved to be such a success last year.
Commercial director Stuart Gill said: "Both the exhibitors and visitors enjoyed having both events on the same day, and it helped to create a new audience for each event as lots of visitors who came for the Plant Fair ended up looking at the Cars in the Park and vice versa.
"We certainly enjoyed seeing some of the supercars driving off laden with plants!”
The plants fair includes unusual, diverse and specialist plants, as well as garden favourites.
Cars in the Park is a casual gathering of sports and super cars including TVR, Ferrari, Lamborghini, Renault, Lotus, Maserati, MX-5, Smart Roadsters, mini and hot hatches.
Open from 10am to 4pm, entry is £10.50 for adults, £9.50 for seniors and children cost £8.50, including entry into both events and gardens. For more information go to www.newbyhall.com.
