A TRADITIONAL pub has been sold for £199,950 to a buyer who hopes to transform the premises and change its name.
The Blacksmiths Arms in North Cowton, near Richmond, was bought by a local resident who has a successful restaurant nearby.
Formerly run by Kevin and Francis Hacking, there is a main bar and lounge area, as well as a dining conservatory with a beer terrace and parking for 30 vehicles.
