LIKE your correspondent Ms Farmer I was impressed by the colourful jumpers at Tesco’s before Christmas (HAS, Jan 5).
However, I was not so well impressed, when shopping yesterday, to find that the bottle of milk had risen from £1 to £1.08 (eight per cent rise) and the cost of the offer of two ready meals had gone from £6 to £6.50 (7.7 per cent).
Yes ‘Every little helps’ – but whom?
