A MOTHER who admitted dealing cannabis was handed a suspended prison sentence.
Police found £400 of "skunk" in various parts of Abbie Lawson's home in Richmond, North Yorkshire, during a search last July.
The 23-year-old was there with her partner and young children, prosecutor Paul Newcombe told Teesside Crown Court.
Officers found the drugs on a kitchen worktop, in a biscuit tin, and in a safe in a bedroom of the Willance Grove property.
A mobile phone with text messages indicating inquiries and dealing, and £330 in cash were also discovered, said Mr Newcombe.
She was given a six-month suspended prison sentence after the judge, Recorder Ben Nolan QC, said her cannabis dealing was "low-level".
Lawson, who made no reply when questioned by police, had no previous convictions.
She pleaded guilty to a charge of possessing Class B drugs with intent to supply at an earlier court hearing.
