CLIMBER: Doug Scott at the summit of Everest in 1975
VETERAN mountaineer Doug Scott and transatlantic rower Ian Rowe will be in the region to talk about their adventures next month.
They will be sharing their experiences of some of the most inhospitable places on Earth at Tennants Garden Rooms in Leyburn on May 11.
The pair will be talking about their highs and lows and what motivates them to pursue ultimate challenges in extreme conditions.
