AFTER nearly five years of doing business Berry’s Farm Shop and Café at Swinithwaite, near Leyburn, North Yorkshire, held a social evening for the many accommodation providers in the locality.
More than 40 guests spent a pleasant evening at the Wensleydale-based farm shop and café where they heard from speakers Tim Durham, Hannah Russell and Jason Richards. They all emphasised the benefits of working together. Following the evening's formalities all enjoyed a sit down meal, along with the opportunity to circulate and swap stories.
Co-owner Bridget Thornton-Berry explained: “Along with the other tourist attractions in Wensleydale, we all benefit from working together with the accommodation providers.
"Tonight was a way of meeting up on an informal basis, sharing ideas and good practice which helps us all.”
