POLICE are appealing for witnesses and information after a burglary at Ravensworth, near Richmond.
Raiders forced open the door of the shop at Ravensworth Nurseries and stole cash from the till at around 1.50pm on July 6.
A member of staff reports seeing a black 56-plate Fiat Punto leaving the area at the time.
The same member of staff also saw seeing a man leaving the shop area. He was described as Asian, about 40-years-old, of average build with short black hair, tidy appearance and wearing a brown jacket.
Police would like to speak to the man and the occupants of the Punto.
“We are conducting enquiries and are requesting the public's assistance to help determine the full circumstances surrounding the incident,” said a spokesman.
