MEDICS from the Great North Air Ambulance service were called to the North York Moors on Sunday after a man in his 70s was seriously injured in an accident at home.
The man, who had suffered a head injury at his home in Castleton, was assessed by a paramedic and doctor team before being placed in an induced coma.
He was then flown to James Cook University Hospital, in Middlesbrough, where their condition was described as life-threatening.
