A MOTORIST crashed after swerving to miss an owl on the road last night.
The incident happened in Lockton Lane, Pickering, North Yorkshire.
Fire crews were called just before 10pm.
The vehicle ended up in its side.
Nobody was injured or trapped.
A spokesman for North Yorkshire Fire and Rescue Service said: "Crews disconnected the battery and used one hose reel to swill the road from fuel."
