A VALUABLE collection of mountain and racing bikes were stolen during a burglary on the North York Moors.
Five bikes worth around £9,000 were taken after a shed was broken into at a property in Glaisdale, near Whitby.
The machines were taken sometime overnight between January 7 and 8 and police are now appealing for anyone with information to come forward.
The haul included a white and black Norco-Sight 2 full suspension mountain bike; a green Giant-Reign full suspension mountain bike; a red and black Specialized Crux racing bike; a white, blue and green Pinarello FP Due racing bike; and a white and pink Specialized Ruby ladies racing bike
