POLICE are appealing for information after a burglary in which thieves escaped with a £2,400 haul.
The raiders broke into an outbuilding of a house in Station Road, Great Ayton, sometime between 11pm yesterday (June 5) and 7.15am today (June 6).
They stole a catalytic converter from an Isuzu D-Max, as well as alloy wheels and tyres from a Mercedes-Benz Vito.
PC Eddie Reid appealed to anyone who saw any suspicious activity in the area to contact him.
He added: “I am also keen to speak to anyone who has been offered any items matching the description of the stolen property and ask the them to get in touch as soon as possible.”
