A PREVIEW evening for the forthcoming Spring Fine Art Sale at Tennants Auctioneers helped raise funds for charity.
Taking place three times a year ahead of Tennants Spring, Summer and Autumn Fine Art Sales, the preview evenings provide an opportunity for invited guests to view prestigious items and collections ahead of each sale whilst providing an opportunity to raise much-needed funds for local good causes.
The Northallerton branch of Samaritans was the chosen charity for the Spring Preview Evening. Providing emotional support to those in emotional distress, or at the risk of suicide the charity operates throughout the United Kingdom and Ireland, often through their telephone helpline. They also work proactively visiting schools and prisons.
Director of Tennants Jane Tennant said: “The Preview Evenings are a traditional part of our sales calendar and we are delighted to be able to take the opportunity to help raise awareness of local charities at the same time as inviting our guests to view the forthcoming sale."
