A CHAT show with a Victorian twist is being held at Kiplin Hall next month.
Theatre company Don't Go Into The Cellar! are performing Tea with Oscar Wilde, a take on an 1880s 'chit-chat' show hosted by Mr Wilde and featuring some celebrities of the day as his guests.
Packed with gossip, song and humour – and a few surprises – this light-hearted performance invites the audience to experience the wittiest Victorian ‘chit-chat’ show, with plenty of audience interaction.
Artistic director Jonathan Goodwin both writes and performs in each show, bringing a life-long love of Victorian detective, ghost and horror stories to the fore.
Tea with Oscar Wilde is at 7pm on Saturday, June 4. Tickets for the chat show with a difference are £10.50. Book in advance on 01748-818178 or email info@kiplinhall.co.uk.
Kiplin Hall is between Scorton and Northallerton. Visit www.kiplinhall.co.uk.
