A MOTORIST who transported a sheep on the backseat of their Nissan Navara down the A19 in North Yorkshire has been spoken to by police.
The driver was stopped by North Yorkshire Police who earlier this year spotted a sheep in the back of Peugeot 206 at McDonalds in Leeming Bar, near Bedale.
The force tweeted the picture of the sheep in the 4x4 this week, adding: "Not content with a Peugeot, the sheep in North #Yorkshire have upgraded to a Nissan Navara to get up & down the #A19."
