THREE teenagers have been charged with arson following a fire which burnt down a shed and led to 200 cows being rescued.
The youngsters, who cannot be named for legal reasons, will appear at Northallerton Youth Court on Tuesday, May 5 charged in connection with the fire at Aiskew, near Bedale.
They are a 14-year-old boy from Darlington, a 14-year-old boy from Northallerton and a 13-year-old girl from Bedale.
The barn on Bedale Road, Aiskew was extensively damaged in the blaze on the evening of Sunday, March 1. Two hundred cows in the building were rescued.
Two other teenagers arrested at the time have been released without charge.
