ADULTS at a day centre in Richmondshire have been busy creating Christmas cards for a housing association.
Members of the ABLE (Activity Based Learning Environment) Day Centre were tasked with making the official Christmas cards for housing association Broadacres, which runs the centre.
Everyone designed and made three different versions, amounting to 350 cards in total and others also created some stained glass paintings.
ABLE, situated at Bailey Court on the Colburn Business Park, near Catterick, is open to all adults, including those with learning or physical disabilities, acquired brain injuries, mental health issues, dementia or autism.
Lynn Tomkinson, manager of ABLE, said: “Christmas is always a busy time of the year for us, but everyone worked really hard and produced fantastic Christmas cards.
“We have also been using acetate to make festive paintings that have a stained-glass effect, which are now hanging up in the centre.”
