POLICE are appealing for witnesses following a burglary in Catterick Garrison.

Between 12.20pm and 1.10pm on Friday, December 19, thieves entered a property on Burstell Drive through an insecure rear door and stole around £500 cash and a silver Ben Sherman watch, with an oblong face.

Officers believe that the suspects climbed over the back fence from the woods near Hipswell Road West. The area is popular with dog walkers and joggers and officers are appealing to anyone who saw anything suspicious around the time of the incident to contact them with information.
