COACHES at a local junior football club are top of the fashion league thanks to sponsorship from media company Charlton Grant.
The North Yorkshire-based company has supplied tracksuit tops for all qualified coaches at Bedale Junior Football Club in a deal that strengthens their links with the local community.
Company project manager Amanda King visited the club to hand over the tops to the coaches who run 14 different teams for boys and girls aged from seven to17 as well as under-six and toddler sessions.
Amanda said: “We wanted to give something back to the community and this seemed the perfect way.”
Club chairman Tony Clark said: “All our coaches are FA qualified and it’s important for parents and children, as well as visiting teams, that they are easily recognisable on matchdays and training sessions. These tracksuit tops are perfect for that.
“It is a wonderful gesture by Charlton Grant and deserved reward for our coaches who give up so much of their time to ensure children of all abilities can enjoy football.”
