A FARM devastated by fire two years ago has been hit by another blaze, with ten fire crews involved in bringing it under control.
Emergency services were called out to Low Park Farm, in Salmon Lane, Snape, near Bedale, at about 10.30pm on Monday. Workshops containing acetylene cylinders were alight.
Originally six crews were involved but fire and rescue managers called in four further engines to help with water supply as they battled to keep gas cylinders cool.
Engines from Bedale, Masham, Ripon, Boroughbridge Water Bowser, Thirsk, Northallerton, Harrogate, Leyburn and Colburn attended.
Investigations are being carried out by fire officers to try to find out how the fire started. Damage was caused to workshops. No one at the farm wanted to comment.
In September 2013, 100 cattle died, 4,000 bales of straw and 1,000 tons of silage were destroyed in a blaze in barns at the farm.
Six crews from Bedale, Northallerton, Masham, Knaresborough and Boroughbridge were involved in bringing the fire under control.
Police and fire investigators appealed for information at the time saying the cause was unexplained.
