THE Hambleton Forum in Northallerton will become a cinema again next week.

Two films will play there on August 6 - as part of the First Friday programme run by Hambleton District Council and the local Rotary Club.

First up at 5.30pm is Nanny McPhee and the Big Bang (U) - the second film featuring Emma Thompson as a magical nanny with a difference.

That is followed at 7.30pm by Glorious 39 (12A) a mysterious tale set on the eve of the Second World War, directed and written by Stephen Poliakoff.

Tickets for each showing cost £3 and can be bought at the door.
