RESIDENTS, schools and businesses across Richmond are being encouraged to get green-fingered to help the town’s Britain in Bloom bid.
The Richmond Business and Tourism Association (RBTA) has entered the national awards in the Grow Your Community category.
The entry will be judged on horticultural excellence, environmental responsibility and community participation.
It is a non-competitive category, meaning Richmond will be judged on how much improvement has been achieved over the next few months.
RBTA chair, Marcia McLuckie said, “We cannot do this on our own and we are calling on as many people as possible to get involved in making Richmond even more beautiful and helping to contribute towards the towns success.”
