A CHARITY pop-up Christmas card shop which will help raise thousands for local and national causes has been set up in a town's library.
Staffed by local volunteers, the shop will be housed in Richmond Library, on Queens Road, in the run up to Christmas.
It is part of a network of more than 300 temporary shops run by Cards for Good Causes, the UK’s largest multi-charity Christmas card organisation.
It represents more than 250 charities including Cancer Research UK, NSPCC, Alzheimer’s Society and RNLI.
Shelley Mills, Cards for Good Causes area organiser, said: “Buying charity Christmas cards is one of the simplest ways to support good causes this festive season and we stock one of the widest ranges of cards anywhere.
“Come and find us in Richmond Library and get your cards early.”
