A TEENAGER has appeared in court after being charged with voyeurism at a North Yorkshire leisure centre.
The boy, who cannot be identified because of his age, pleaded not guilty to recording a person doing a private act with the intention of using the footage for sexual gratification, knowing that person did not consent to the recording.
He appeared in front of magistrates at youth court at Northallerton Magistrates' Court on Tuesday.
The charges relate to two separate incidents at Thirsk and Sowerby Leisure Centre in Thirsk, in February this year.
In both incidents the boy is accused of using his mobile phone to make secret recordings in cubicles at the swimming pool.
A trial date has been set for February 20, 2017, at Northallerton Magistrates’ Court.
