A COUPLE are being hunted by police after a man was robbed and left with both his arms broken on a travellers' caravan site.
Detectives want to speak to Tommy Doyle, 36, and his wife Crystal Doherty Doyle, 26, following the incident at the Hillfield site in the hamlet of Seamer, near Stokesley, North Yorkshire.
Police say the victim, who was befiriended by the Doyles, was attacked in his caravan and left with two broken arms and a broken eye socket on Tuesday.
His belongings, including cash, jewellery and clothing, were stolen as he lay semi-conscious on the caravan floor.
The Doyles left the travellers' site shortly afterwards.
Police officers have carried out extensive enquiries to trace Tommy and Crystal and as part of their investigation, are urging anyone who has seen them in the past few weeks or knows of their current whereabouts, to call.
It is believed that they could be in the Durham area but also have connections to the South Yorkshire, Northumberland and Norfolk areas.
Anyone with any information is asked to contact North Yorkshire Police on 101, select option 2 and ask for the Serious Crime Team in Northallerton.
