Easter-themed games, stories and songs will be on offer for children aged between four and seven at Northallerton Library on Tuesday, April 2, between 11am and midday. The event is free but advance booking is required.
EAST COAST WALKS: Northallerton Ramblers will be staging two walks on Thursday, April 4. The group will stage a nine-mile moorland walk in the Robin Hood’s Bay area and around Ramsdale Beck from 10am. The ramblers will also be holding a six mile walk in the vicinity of Whitby, starting from Falling Foss Car park near Littlebeck, from 11am. Both walks will be followed by fish and chips in Whitby. YORK PUB APPLICATION: A planning application has been submitted to transform a former York estate agency premises into a pub. Leeds Brewery has applied for a licence to sell alcohol and provide live music at the former Your Move building on Kings Square.
