People can learn how to use a compass and put their skills to the test navigating a course at the Moors National Park Centre in Danby on April 11. The activity is £3.50 for children and free for adults and runs from 10.30am until noon. Children must be aged at least eight and accompanied by an adult.
NORTHALLERTON WALK: On Thursday, March 21 Northallerton Ramblers will be embarking on a ten mile circular walk from Winston to Little Newsham in Teesdale along fields. Those wanting to take part can meet in Winston at 10am. For more details ring Peter on 01609-770090.
