TWO funeral homes are appealing for Easter eggs to give to youngsters at a women’s refuge.
HW Carter, in Stokesley, and Wilson, Willoughby and Wetherills, in Northallerton, said they will deliver residents’ donations of chocolate eggs to children staying at the refuge in Northallerton on Maundy Thursday.
Rebekah Taylor, of HW Carter, said: “As a business at the heart of the community, we want to do our bit by trying to put a smile on the children’s faces this Easter.”
Easter eggs can be handed in at the funeral homes at 10 East End, Stokesley and 223 High Street, Northallerton, until Wednesday, March 27.
