COMPONENTS of a confrontational daytime talk show have been studied by young people in the North-East.
The Jeremy Kyle Show, which features DNA tests to prove parentage and guests heading off to rehab, was analysed by University of Sunderland students during a workshop with series producer John Millership.
Student got the chance to make their own episode.
Mr Millership said: “This was about breaking down the mechanics and showing the students what really goes into making an episode. The workshop encouraged the students to look into the ingredients needed to make a good programme, to think about the different things which make viewers connect with the show.”
