STAR Wars fans are gearing up for a night to remember with Royal Northern Sinfonia’s latest film music special at a concert hall not so far away.

Taking place just weeks before Star Wars: The Last Jedi hits cinema screens across the UK, Star Wars Spectacular is billed as the perfect pre-Christmas night out for fans of the epic film franchise, with performances on Thursday November 23 and Friday November 24, both at 7.30pm in Sage Gateshead’s Hall One.

Featuring music from John Williams’ iconic score performed live by Royal Northern Sinfonia, the programme includes soundtrack snippets from prequel The Phantom Menace and sequel The Force Awakens alongside timeless hits Star Wars (Main Title), Imperial March and Cantina Band from the original trilogy.

Star Wars costumes are encouraged to get their lightsabers and Chewbacca masks at the ready – to pay a visit to Sage Gateshead’s pop-up cocktail bar and cafe-turned-cantina.

Tickets are available from £16.50 to £39.50. The force is strong with this one – so fans are advised to secure your seats soon to avoid disappointment.
