TWO men accused of murdering a Vietnamese woman whose body was found in a burning car have been remanded in custody.
Stephen Unwin, 39, of St Oswald's Terrace, Houghton, and William McFall, 50, of Waterloo Road, Blackpool, will face a murder trial in the New Year.
The pair appeared before Newcastle Crown Court this morning via video link to HMP Durham.
Mother-of-one Quyen Ngoc Nguyen, from North Tyneisde, was found in a burning car near allotments in Shiney Row, near Houghton-le-Spring, in the early hours of last Tuesday.
Both men are due back in court on November 13 for a further hearing ahead of their trial, which is scheduled to begin on January 29 next year.
